(: I actually have struggled with depression for the last six years, and I quit Tumblr because it was really harming my forward progress. Everything on here seemed to either want me to feel not good enough, or tempted me to focus on the negatives on life. Having already survived one suicide attempt, I felt no need to return to that horrible place and Tumblr was definitely pushing me in that direction. I didn’t want any of that, so I’m gone! I’d really encourage any of those still following me to do the same if it’s an issue for them. You don’t need to make life any harder for yourselves, enjoy the good things instead of dwelling on the bad! |

” The Philippines’ Red Cross put the number of dead at 652 with a further 800 unaccounted for. The deluge that struck when most people were sleeping sent torrents of flood water, mud and uprooted trees cascading down steep hillsides, crashing into towns and sweeping away whole villages. The two worst hit cities were the ports of Cagayan de Oro, where 336 people are known to have perished, and Iligan, where the death toll was 227.” (via The Telegraph & Daily Mail)
